Svensson Group has a solid experience from the Offshore business, we have manufactured and delivered offshore drums for more than 10 years. Everything from simpler models handling power cables, to more advanced models adapted for ”umbilicals” etc. A constant development is going on with our products to be able to meet our clients needs towards safety, flexibility, and dimensions.
Our offshore drums fulfill DNV`s demands on ”Marine operations” and the calculation models we use are examined and approved by DNV. Together with the client we adapt to the most optimal solution regarding cost and use. An alternative to the offshore drums are so called ”baskets”, which in many cases can be a more beneficial solution when it comes to handle a large amount of cable to the offshore industry.
